For our client, an international company that manufactures semi-finished plastic products for several industries such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical, solar energy, and so on, we are looking for the OPERATIONS MANAGER to oversee 2 manufacturing plants based in North America. Mission: The candidate will coordinate Production, Quality and Logistics functions of each plant, reporting to the General Manager / Managing Director. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the manufacturing process in two plants. Coordinates the two manufacturing plants' short-term and long-term planning, KPIs, and operating procedures. Ensures proper inventory management and allocation of resources, as well as the continuous improvement of the production processes and the flow of incoming material to feed the production processes, together with the respective plant production managers. Manage production efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products by monitoring and evaluating operational effectiveness. Propose changes to the effects necessary to improve the viability and quality of the products. Promote and drive continuous improvement, ensuring leading indicators align with procedures and targets defined by local and global manufacturing practices. Ensures compliance with the required lead times, orders, and deliveries. Assess, manage, and monitor the correct training of the plant's personnel to assure compliance, quality, and safety. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills: BS Degree in Engineering (preferred) 10 years of experience processing plastics materials with at least five years experience in a supervising / managing role. Previous experience managing production / operations at a manufacturing / transforming company specializing in semi-finished plastics products, for the medical and electronics industries as preferred. Production management and knowledge of production processes, continuous improvement, quality controls and management, industrial logistics flows, machine installation, process engineering, and improvement. Fluent in English and in Italian (preferred) Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong teamwork and conflict management skills Problem-solving approach Flexibility and adaptability Ability to travel 50% of the time, domestically and internationally Job location: The candidate could live in either USA location.

Responsabilità principali Verifica e validazione dei processi produttivi dei fornitori, inclusi i controlli di qualità e la conformità agli standard ISO/TS/IATF. Gestione delle attività di PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) e APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning). Monitoraggio delle performance dei fornitori attraverso KPI di qualità e implementazione di azioni correttive in caso di non conformità. Collaborazione con il team interno e i fornitori per sviluppare piani di miglioramento continuo. Conduzione di audit presso i fornitori (sistemi, processo e prodotto) per verificare la conformità agli standard aziendali e normativi. Supporto nella gestione delle non conformità e nelle analisi delle cause profonde (RCA - Root Cause Analysis). Preparazione e mantenimento della documentazione tecnica e dei report di qualità.   Requisiti Laurea in Ingegneria (preferibilmente Meccanica, Industriale o dei Materiali) o formazione equivalente. Esperienza di almeno 3/5 anni nel ruolo, nel settore automotive. Conoscenza approfondita delle normative di qualità automotive (IATF 16949, ISO 9001). Competenze nella gestione di PPAP, APQP, FMEA e SPC. Ottime capacità di analisi e problem-solving. Disponibilità a viaggiare per visite presso fornitori (60-75% del tempo). La risorsa si occuperà di gestire tutte le tematiche relative alla Salute, Sicurezza ed Ambiente. The role will be responsible for managing all plant maintenance activities, coordinating a team of approximately 30 technicians and supervisors, and driving the evolution from a reactive maintenance approach to a structured preventive and predictive maintenance model. Key Responsibilities: Manage tax matters at both domestic and international levels, including VAT and customs duties. Oversee tax benefits (e.g., Patent Box, R&D credits) and handle tax reimbursement processes. Provide support to the Group companies during tax audits, assessments, and related matters. Assist in the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and support intercompany pricing adjustments. Key Requirements: Educational Background: Law degree or Accounting qualification. A Master's degree in Tax Law is a plus. Experience: 4-5 years of proven experience in tax advisory or corporate tax roles, ideally within an international environment. Skills: Strong proficiency in tax software, Excel, and Word. Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous approach to handling complex tax matters. Ownership and accountability in managing tasks and delivering results. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
