We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Global CIO / IT Director to lead the company’s global IT and digital agenda. JOB PURPOSE The role will work in envisioning, defining, and implementing applications and systems, user experience, data integrations, and predictive analytics. The role will be in charge of the development and maintenance of IT solutions for the company by working with different stakeholders in order to optimize business process efficiency and implement enhancements to internal business processes as well as managing successfully the ERP implementation to ensure that integrated data flows from ERP and production systems support comprehensive business intelligence dashboards, KPI monitoring, and predictive analytics initiatives. As an IT supporter your daily responsibilities will be to swiftly and in a structured manner handle inquiries from your local coworkers at the Milan offices, and once a week you will have the opportunity to visit the production site . You will solve problems ranging from CAPS LOCK during login to more complex issues related to mobile phones, PCs or tablets used by the business. The IT platform is based on Microsoft 365 and we expect you to have a high level of experience with troubleshooting the applications within this portfolio, such as Outlook, Teams and OneNote. The production platform is SAP based, so some experience with the SAP products is a plus, but not a requirement, as it is fully supported from HQ. Some experience with Cisco networks and Windows Server is required.
