CHIEF OPERATING DIRECTOR
Location: Poland, Subcarpathian Region
Lead, direct, and control the day-to-day activities of the plants (3 locations) to achieve the production plan leading to achieve financial and operating objectives with high quality and safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Leads, directs and motors the day-to-day activities within assigned operational area.
· Oversees P&L of the business line.
·Supervises and approves established budgets.
·Monitors the cost and effectiveness of production activities to guarantee optimization of resources; prioritizes spending, and achieves volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.
·Sets the targets and monitors the performance of the business against targets defined in manufacturing efficiency, cost control and sales revenue.
·Develops and implements a variety of operating policies and procedures (in conjunction with corporate subject matter experts) to ensure meeting business targets and quality standards.
·Supports organization development in all locations to ensure effective cooperation between the plants.
·Establishes and maintains a safe, legally compliant workplace and enforces compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.
· Keeps and tracks records of constant improvements of KPIs.
· Oversees research activities; evaluates and recommends necessary investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the business’ capabilities.
·Leads, directs, evaluates and develops a team of functional and operational managers and other professionals to ensure targets’ achievement by all supervised facilities.
·Interfaces with Customers and helps solving their issues.
·Provides professional expertise and monitors performance to ensure that departmental and individual objectives are achieved within scheduled timelines and budgets.
·Implements continuous improvement and develop ways of working and processes to increase productivity, assure quality and safety and to mitigate production issues.
· Manages Employee Relations together with Local and Group HR support; being involved in people development towards a culture that encourage bottom up initiatives and employees’ engagement.
WORKING EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:
· Min. 6 years’ multisite operations experience.
· Must have demonstrated ability to create and lead teams and drive change.
·Must have strong attention to details and processes.
·Knowledge of mass-production processes.
·Demonstrated continuous improvement and problem-solving skills.
·Must have used to work directly with Customers.
·Must have demonstrated computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
·Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration or similar.
·Fluency in English.
·Clear driving license.
