For an important international luxury company, we are looking for a: BUYER RAW MATERIALS Main responsibilities: Manage the process of purchasing from a technical, timeline and cost point of view for the Raw Materials: Leather, Fabrics, Metal Hardware, Packaging. Work in the Production team, very closely with the Raw Materials Research team with the objective of validating all necessary information and to make sure that the allocations of materials are suitable for production; Support the Production Planning Team to guarantee the on time deliveries of the materials. Work in close relationship with manufacturers in order to manage any material related issue and possible optimizations. In charge of a detailed follow up of the purchasing orders, relation of deliveries KPIs and reporting. Verify that all selected raw materials are correctly sourced from reliable suppliers and that these are working according to the Company’s Social Compliance Guidelines and global Regulations in accordance with Environment, use of chemical products etc. Manage the Supplier Portfolio for each category and look for the most adequate suppliers according to their savoir-faire in order to guarantee quality, deliveries and innovation. T Define quality parameters of the material enrichment techniques for the production with supplier and in collaboration with the Product Industrialization Team. Promote the suppliers research to enlarge materials market knowledge. Negotiate prices and purchasing conditions and will transfer the information to the Development and Raw Materials Procurement Team.
