We are looking for an important company (Genova) a Luxury Food&Beverage Buyer JOB PURPOSE The Luxury F&B Buyer ensures the satisfactory completion of F&B purchasing agreements and assists the Purchasing Manager in ensuring the best combination of quality, price and delivery ratio. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Identifies and evaluates suppliers - communicates with them in order to achieve the best markets conditions; • Sources F&B products for the Luxury vessels, following Company guidelines and indications while liasing with the F&B purchasing team; • Negotiates luxury F&B products worldwide, verifying delivery conditions with Logistics department; • Analyses suppliers' quotations and contract bids, verifying and negotiating contract terms, such as price, quality and delivery conditions; • Manages and builds appropriate relationships with suppliers, developing strategic partnership and projects; • Keeps up to date with luxury F&B market trends, proactively suggesting innovative solutions and products, and using market research to strategically plan future purchases; • Prepares reports and maintain accurate records; • Proactively works with Logistics and Warehouse, coordinating delivery operations to the vessels; QUALIFICATIONS • Previous experience in the role, minimum 3 years; • Experience in the F&B sector and comprehensive understanding of F&B strategic sourcing and market trends • Fluent English. L’Export Manager, a diretto riporto del Direttore Commerciale Estero, sarà responsabile dell’attuazione della strategia export del Gruppo con focus primario sui mercati del Nord e Centro America. For our client, an international company that manufactures semi-finished plastic products for several industries such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical, solar energy, and so on, we are looking for the OPERATIONS MANAGER to oversee 2 manufacturing plants based in North America. Mission: The candidate will coordinate Production, Quality and Logistics functions of each plant, reporting to the General Manager / Managing Director. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the manufacturing process in two plants. Coordinates the two manufacturing plants' short-term and long-term planning, KPIs, and operating procedures. Ensures proper inventory management and allocation of resources, as well as the continuous improvement of the production processes and the flow of incoming material to feed the production processes, together with the respective plant production managers. Manage production efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products by monitoring and evaluating operational effectiveness. Propose changes to the effects necessary to improve the viability and quality of the products. Promote and drive continuous improvement, ensuring leading indicators align with procedures and targets defined by local and global manufacturing practices. Ensures compliance with the required lead times, orders, and deliveries. Assess, manage, and monitor the correct training of the plant's personnel to assure compliance, quality, and safety. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills: BS Degree in Engineering (preferred) 10 years of experience processing plastics materials with at least five years experience in a supervising / managing role. Previous experience managing production / operations at a manufacturing / transforming company specializing in semi-finished plastics products, for the medical and electronics industries as preferred. Production management and knowledge of production processes, continuous improvement, quality controls and management, industrial logistics flows, machine installation, process engineering, and improvement. Fluent in English and in Italian (preferred) Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong teamwork and conflict management skills Problem-solving approach Flexibility and adaptability Ability to travel 50% of the time, domestically and internationally Job location: The candidate could live in either USA location.
