For an important multinational company operating in Automotive sector, we are looking for a:


PROCESS INJECTION TECHNOLOGIST

Reporting to the Plant Process Engineering Manager, he/she will ensure that moulds, dies and tooling’s are at the disposal of the plant when needed by giving technical know-how and expertise in this area.

 

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Prepare all the documentation of new moulds.
  • Define process parameters for new moulds.
  • Assure that project target of scrap effectiveness are achieved for new moulds.
  • Supervise technically the repair of the existing moulds.
  • Train and to give technical support to the Moulds Teams when necessary.
  • Guarantee the fulfilment of the Health and Safety policies and procedures in his area of responsibility.
  • Report to the Production Manager about his activity, as well as on new deficiencies detected in moulds, dies and tooling, etc.
  • Report the Production Manager about his performance indicators of its supervised area.
  • Actively cooperate with the Department in the maintenance, promotion and improvement of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Environment

 

Technical and personal skills:

  • High School Degree.
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar position.
  • Aesthetical products evaluation skills.
  • Functional products evaluation skills.
  • Identification of problems' sources.
  • Know-how on plastic materials.
  • Launch and definition of changes/MAP on components.
  • Launch and definition of MAP for thermoplastic moulds.
  • Molding tools knowledge.
  • Self confidence and self efficacy, verbal communication, initiative, organization of own work, job scheduling, tenacity, flexibility.
  • English (Sufficient Level).
