On behalf of our client, a North American company producing and selling pressure equipment, we are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer Reporting Line: China General ManagerLocation: Pinghu (Jiaxing), China We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer. This role involves close collaboration with the engineering team at headquarters in NA, focusing on innovative project development, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement.Responsibilities Design and Development: Develop and refine manufacturing processes for power equipment. Collaborate with the engineering team in HQ to ensure design compatibility and projec alignment. Hands-on Product Development: Engage in the hands-on development and testing of new products. Work directly with the fabrication and CNC departments to bring designs to life. Quality and Efficiency Improvements: Identify areas for potential quality and efficiency improvements within the manufacturing process. Implement changes and monitor their impact on production quality and output. Help push the organization to a quality first mindset Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with the fabrication, CNC, production, and manufacturing departments to ensure seamless operations. Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments to meet project goals. Training and Mentorship:Develop training programs and materials for the quality control department. Mentor and train quality control staff to enhance their skills and understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards. Documentation and Reporting:  Prepare detailed technical documentation, including process designs, improvement plans, and quality reports.  Provide regular updates and reports to management and the HQ engineering team. Requirements and Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.  5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the power equipment manufacturing industry. Proven experience in designing and developing manufacturing processes and systems. Hands-on experience with fabrication and CNC processes. Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to train and mentor team members. Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.
