Scope: This role is the interface between the local Plant and the BU Headquarter in Italy, being in charge of Operations, Finance and Production. Moreover he is directly responsible for the P&L of the plant and for the quality of the service; maintain good relations with the local clients. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Planning. Prepare, analyze and issue production and performance reports Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions where needed, in the following areas: production, quality control, maintenance Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. For an important international luxury company, we are looking for a: BUYER RAW MATERIALS Main responsibilities: Manage the process of purchasing from a technical, timeline and cost point of view for the Raw Materials: Leather, Fabrics, Metal Hardware, Packaging. Work in the Production team, very closely with the Raw Materials Research team with the objective of validating all necessary information and to make sure that the allocations of materials are suitable for production; Support the Production Planning Team to guarantee the on time deliveries of the materials.   Work in close relationship with manufacturers in order to manage any material related issue and possible optimizations. In charge of a detailed follow up of the purchasing orders, relation of deliveries KPIs and reporting. Verify that all selected raw materials are correctly sourced from reliable suppliers and that these are working according to the Company’s Social Compliance Guidelines and global Regulations in accordance with Environment, use of chemical products etc. Manage the Supplier Portfolio for each category and look for the most adequate suppliers according to their savoir-faire in order to guarantee quality, deliveries and innovation.
