Senior Hardware Engineer

Per importante multinazionale del settore Lusso, ricerchiamo una figura di Production Specialist con le seguenti responsabilità:  Supervisionare ogni fase del processo di lavorazione, monitorando gli stati di avanzamento e il rispetto degli standard qualitativi in relazione ai tempi di realizzazione. Contribuire all’ottimizzazione dei prodotti, garantendo una migliore gestione dei costi e la riduzione dei tempi di produzione e di consegna. Controllare i semilavorati e i prodotti finiti per valutarne gli eventuali difetti e, in base alle imperfezioni riscontrate, proporre gli accorgimenti tecnici più adatti alla soluzione dei problemi. Individuare gli interventi preventivi e correttivi per il ripristino dei livelli di qualità attesi. Verificare la corrispondenza delle caratteristiche dei prodotti con quelle dei campioni ordinati, assicurandosi che coincidano con le specifiche richieste. Attraverso l’organizzazione dei processi di controllo, contribuire al raggiungimento degli obiettivi di efficacia ed efficienza dell’intero sistema produttivo, con focus in particolare sulle tempistiche di consegna richieste. Controllare le Di.Ba, le schede misure o le anagrafiche e, ove necessario, realizzare i protocolli di modifica. Gestire i file per aggiornamenti su tutti i capi di collezione, arrivo e controllo dei campioni PPS, arrivo e invio a magazzino dei campioni Shipment Sample. Archiviare foto e documenti di tutto quello che viene controllato. Preparare e inviare a magazzino di tutti i documenti necessari al CQ. Mission: The candidate will coordinate Production, Quality and Logistics functions of each plant, reporting to the General Manager / Managing Director. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the manufacturing process in two plants. Coordinates the two manufacturing plants' short-term and long-term planning, KPIs, and operating procedures. Ensures proper inventory management and allocation of resources, as well as the continuous improvement of the production processes and the flow of incoming material to feed the production processes, together with the respective plant production managers. Manage production efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products by monitoring and evaluating operational effectiveness. Propose changes to the effects necessary to improve the viability and quality of the products. Promote and drive continuous improvement, ensuring leading indicators align with procedures and targets defined by local and global manufacturing practices. Ensures compliance with the required lead times, orders, and deliveries. Assess, manage, and monitor the correct training of the plant's personnel to assure compliance, quality, and safety. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills: BS Degree in Engineering (preferred) 10 years of experience processing plastics materials with at least five years experience in a supervising / managing role. Previous experience managing production / operations at a manufacturing / transforming company specializing in semi-finished plastics products, for the medical and electronics industries as preferred. Production management and knowledge of production processes, continuous improvement, quality controls and management, industrial logistics flows, machine installation, process engineering, and improvement. Fluent in English and in Italian (preferred) Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong teamwork and conflict management skills Problem-solving approach Flexibility and adaptability Ability to travel 50% of the time, domestically and internationally Job location: The candidate could live in either USA location.

Main task is to execute Advanced Quality activities for the new products under development contributing to flawless launches and the continuous improvement of current production of the Transmission components (gearbox, e-axle, PTU, etc…).  Key Responsibilities Actively participate in the risk assessment of new vehicle under development Manage the analysis of opened issues (including Development, Test Drive and Field) including the corrective actions to solve the issue Prepare the report by involving the Vehicle Regulation Team in case of field issue which could cause an action on field.   Analyse the drawings ensuring the fully alignment to the technical specification prescribed.  Analyse BOM (Bill of Material)  Actively participate to the design review.  Actively participate to prepare DFMEA and PFMEA. Prepare along with Cross Functional Team the action plan to improve the reliability products Monitor Quality deliverables (KPI) vs Target defined per each Program Gate. Define and lead the corrective actions to achieve the Quality Target defined for the vehicle under development. Prepare the Quality KPI reporting.   Skills and Requirements   Master’s degree in mechanic/automotive/mechatronic engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3 years in automotive experience  Deep knowledge of automotive core tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, 8D discipline and problem solving methodology) and IATF 16949 Able to organize and prioritize completion of assigned tasks.
